The esteemed Curtis all the way to historical Vienna, the masterclasses and international competitions, musical accolades do not meant much for a professor unless it means they can teach well. Here are some names that Dimitri has studied under:


Studying under exceptional piano professors is a transformative experience for aspiring pianists. Professors like Gary Graffman is celebrated for their virtuosic artistry and deep insight into classical repertoire, making them an ideal mentor for those seeking a profound understanding of the piano's classical heritage. András Schiff is revered for his pedagogical expertise, having mentored numerous award-winning pianists too. 


Of course, Pinchas Zukerman played a significant role in shaping his early career and instilling a strong foundation in violin technique and interpretation. 


Studying under the tutelage of two distinguished cellists, Simon Fryer and Mstislav Rostropovich, was a transformative and inspiring journey for this young cellist. Under Simon Fryer's guidance, a renowned cellist known for his versatility and pedagogical excellence. his mentorship further enriched the musical palette, nurturing Dimitri's voice as a cellist. Then under the guidance of the legendary Rostropovich, there was the wisdom and artistry of one of the 20th century's most celebrated cellists.
